Sam has a needle sculpted nose and mouth. His eyes are paint with little french knot pupils.He has little stick arms and legs and a wonderful curly wool beard and hair. (Needle felted to his face and head)Sam's Star sits on top of a old spindle with the original chippy paint. A large altered art / scrapbook style tag with red, white and blue buttons, rusty star, 2 small fabric banners and a vintage postcard is rusty pinned to the bottom of the star. It has quilted stripes that are grungy stained red and white, sanded and stained. Going down the side is USA bottle caps and rusty bells along the bottom and rusty pin hanger in back.
